My kids are desperate to get into some leaf piles. Okay, so I want it more than they do right now. The weather has been a bit too warm here for the trees to really start dropping leaves in earnest. But they look really pretty on the trees.
Every fall I usually turn the kids lose with the rake and sit back to enjoy the scene (intervening on occasion to make sure that no one takes a rake handle to the head or gut).
They look good and smell good, too. (The leaves that is.)
