That's what the Guardian is hoping for. There's a lot of rumors and guessing going on so it's hard to say. I find myself somewhat doubtful about the validity of the news. It is the Guardian, after all. It's true that Blair is a moderate/liberal and would probably like to see a less conservative course for our country. However, his friendship with Bush is well documented and they seem to share an almost un-heard-of bond. And, Blair realizes that the WOT is one of the most important battles in our lifetime. Unless Kerry has done a lot to convince the Prime Minister that he can fight the war effectively, I doubt Blair would wish for Kerry's win. It would certainly be a blow to the campaign if it leaked out that our closest ally was no longer wanting to work with President Bush. We shall see.
