Kofi Annan, Frog, and the Stupid Brigade (Formerly Known as the UN)

Kofi's absurd speech labeling the removal of a brutal dictator as "illegal" was hailed by the Frog before the words had reached the back of the room. Little surprise there, I suppose. That's understandable, rallying the stupid brigade and all. But why would the head of the UN make an announcement like this out of the blue when everyone already knows his feelings about the invasion?

Hmmm...I wonder? Could it have to do with the avalanche of evidence pointing to how corrupt the UN has become? Maybe because that "illegal" war (which was supported by 17 resolutions) has helped to bring to light how dirty major UN officials were in their dealing with Saddam? Could it have been to fit one last jab in before the President speaks at the UN this week? The UN is nothing more than a dirty sinking ship full of rats. It's about time to give it a burial and move on to something better.

The Heritage Foundation didn't waste any time jumping all over this one. Too bad the rest of the press will give him a pass.
