Happy 229th Birthday to the Marines!
Despite Sunni forces placing mines on roads to keep us out of Fallujah, we (U.S. and Iraqi forces) have taken 70% of the city with, what appears to be, minimum civilian casualties! Unfortunately, this probably means that most of the resistance has fled the city and we will have to fight this battle elsewhere.
