PSP First Look!

A first look at the Sony PSP has been posted at Lik-Sang! The unit still looks sweet and the multitude of pictures at the site definitely shows off its coolness factor. The shot of the screen playing an animated demo is especially nice. Only concern noted - the speed of loading new games. They state that between power-on and seeing the first image on the Ridge Racer demo is 15 seconds. That is longer than some cell phone calls I make!!! Hopefully, this is just a sign of the early state of the technology (maybe still the demo is still compiled with debugger code and the like) but it could also be the first sign of problems for Sony. Well, maybe the second, with the first being the hot sales of the Nintendo DS taking some air out of Sony's sails.
