The NYT: Hoping For American DefeatChristopher Hitchens does us a service and tears apart the NYT's obsession with "Iraq is Vietnam" language. Anyone with a couple of high school history classes can see the vast ocean of difference. But the left knows that Vietnam still leaves a bad taste in the mouths of Americans. So, what better way to discredit a war that they don't like then to compare it to the military's biggest debacle in history?
