The debate has been raging for some time now as to what will be the format of the next generation of DVD players - BluRay or HD-DVD. Now some engineers at Warner have started to develop a triple standard disc. Basically one side would be both a BluRay copy of the movie and an HD-DVD copy. On the other side of the disc would be the good old fashioned DVD version of the movie. This is an interesting concept to make the market be able to handle the two new formats while maintaining the old format. I still think one format will win out and the other two will become obsolete, but until then this is a good solution.
