Everyone likes a politician with a sense of humor. This commercial won't make me vote for Huckabee, but it does no harm.
I heard my first Ron Paul commercial on XM radio this morning. It was on ESPN radio around 6:15am.
I dunno. This looks like the kind of thing SNL would make up to mock a politician. Not something you want running to make yourself more likeable/taken more seriously.
I think that this ad is definitely aimed at making Mike seem likable and fun as well as to get his name out there for people to see and also for them to explore who he is. It's a good tactic in my opinion, because it directs people to his actual stances via his website. With over 169,000 views i'm sure a few people have gone to his site to see what he's really about. Welcome to the world of viral campaigning. :D
