The Justice Department today approved the merger of the XM and Sirius Satellite Radio companies. As a person who has had XM for almost 5 years now, I hope this will mean that I will have access to all the best features of each service. It will be nice to have the option of listening to the NBA games or NFL games. My other hope is that I won't have to upgrade my equipment. Right now I use the XM receiver that is built into my car stereo. That might be difficult to upgrade.

They are talking about letting you choose to have only the stations you want. I would be for that, as there are not that many that interest me. (But the ones I like, I listen to as much as possible!)
