The only place I have worked is a school. We had a paper recycling bin in a staff room, but not the classrooms - no chance of getting the pupils to place their waste printouts and food packets in seperate bins!
When I started there, we threw out all the empty print cartridges... I set up all the recycling arrangements myself.

And at one place I worked, the custodians put the recycle stuff right in with the regular trash, so our efforts were useless.
