New "Incredible Hulk" Trailer

The new trailer is up and available in HD. What do our readers think? Will this "reimagining" of the Hulk be better than Ang Lee's version? Or will every version of a film about the Green Behemoth be relegated to Wards "Worst Ever" list?

I will try to see it. But then I am a sucker for films like this one.

Looks interesting, though that's what I said about the last trailer. I'll see it in the theater - that's about as big a complement as I can make at this point.

So far, this film looks a million times better than the Ang Lee piece of garbage. But then, almost anything looks better.

I don't think it looks much better than the last Hulk movie. The plot as revealed in the trailer looks too comic book cheesy.

Does it look like they're using the same CG Hulk as the last one or is it just me?

I guess they'll all look similar as they're replicating the same character.

The model is actually significantly different. The proportions are different and this Hulk is never as large as the last one. The last Hulk got upwards of 20 feet tall when angry, whereas this one has a max of 9 feet (more in line with the comics). This ones face is also based on Edward Nortons, whereas the last one was based on the other guy whose name escapes me at the moment.

That being said, it is being produced by the same effects house and the same producer (Marvel's guy) so the differences in LOOK will be minimal aside from those mentioned above.

That being said the OTHER creature - the Abomination from the comics - is a radical departure from the original comics. Take a look at him on Wikipedia sometime. I miss the bat ears.

Yes, I was a MAJOR comics geek in late Junior High and early High School, so I know WAY more about than I should. But I mostly got better in later High School and stayed off the stuff in college and beyond.

I also thought the hulk creature looked a lot like the last one. (Although not as light green) I would like to see a side by side of the 2 faces.

I haven't actually seen the other one since I saw it in the theater, so my memory is undoubtedly foggy.

I agree with Nomad, they don't look very similar. And that is one of the pluses for me thus far. The Hulk in the first movie was stupid huge and the "back story" was idiotic. This one at least looks like it stays a little closer to the original idea of the Hulk. But who knows?
