Reading through the most recent statistics on teen birthrate, one thing stands out. New England teens are less likely to give birth than those from other areas of the country. The 4 states with the lowest birthrates are New Hampshire,Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut. (In that order.) I would think that is good to those who are raising daughters in the North East.

I may just be cynical, but couldn't this just mean that New England has more abortions than other states?
We'd have to look into the details of the studies. But last I heard the reported abortion rates in the Northeast and West were pretty comparable.
This may just indicate a larger percentage of use of contraception among NE teens. Make no mistake, it's good to have lower birthrates, it just seems that it's a Trojan horse that could be hiding something much more serious.
Hah! TROJAN horse. Get it?
@Anonymous the pun was totally unintended, but funny nonetheless.
