Definitely very sweet looking. Of course, the game play won't match that, unless they don't want anyone to be able to play it. Imagine a game looking that good but being able to support thousands of players at a time.
But still, Bioware is proving that they still have that great sense of what makes Star Wars what it was. KotOR is still my hands-down favorite Star Wars game of all time.
The Force Unleashed is my favorite Star Wars game to date, closely followed by the Battlefront series. But I never played KOTOR. I agree this is a cutscene, but they definitely understand the mythos.
TFU was certainly a great game. It had some serious flaws in my opinion, especially with the 'good' story track. But that didn't get in the way of amazing game play, so hey, it's all good.
But dude, you should totally play KotOR. It's easily the best RPG from that generation of consoles. Come to think of it, it puts most of this gen's games to shame too.
Oh, and you won't need to buy a PC. Bootcamp runs everything dandy. I play Guild Wars through BC and it runs smoother than most people's game when they play on a PC. Even Crysis runs pretty well on a Mac running BC.
Star Wars: X-Wing for the PC was the best flight sim I ever played. It had strategy, great story, (even a book that came out so you didn't have to play to enjoy the story) and amazing graphics and sound for a game of that time. I spawned three add-ons and a sequel (Tie-Fighter).
