Ladies Ensemble from Christmas Eve

I thought my Mod-Blog friends might enjoy this little bit from our local Christmas Eve service

nice, but without a choir it just doesn't feel like Christmas. I remember the choir used to go out and do caroling in the local community. I just miss choir.

BH, According to what I am told, the lack of choir this year was more due to lack of a music pastor for the planning stages. Looks like choir will be back starting in a few weeks at Calvary, and will be a major part of next year's Christmas services again.

How is life where you are? Any choir opportunities for you down there?

Right, I knew about the lack of music pastor. It makes me wonder why they fired a perfectly good one right before the Christmas season...

Anyway! I work most sundays so I have not had an oppertunity to join a choir. What is great is that Renee goes to church and signed us up for a great small group with some very cool people in it. I am plugged in to the local church. It is just through un-conventional means.

Glad to hear you are both plugged in, even if you cant' do choir with the way things are going right now. Hopefully, you can find a way to use your musical gifts despite the challenges.
