Beau Biden Will Not Run for Senate in 2010

Beau Biden, the son of Vice-President Joe Biden, will not run to fill the seat in the United States Senate that his father used to occupym from Delaware. Biden who is currently the state's Attorney General will instead run again for that office. With Biden deciding not to run, Republican Congressman Mike Castle will be the favorite to win the seat in November. One can't help but wonder if Biden feels that November won't be kind to Democrats running for national office and would prefer to bide his time.

Very interesting. Especially since it seems his father was COUNTING on him running. It is not just a vote of no-confidence in Democrats in general, it is a vote of no-confidence in Obama/Biden to turn it around for their personal approval numbers by November.
