In a move which is sure to offend Senator John McCain and transform political spending for the next cycle, the Supreme Court overturned a number of campaign finance reform provisions, and opened the way for corporations and unions to spend their capital to elect the politicians of their choice.

This will be decried by many as a corruption of the process, but I think the justices are right on the philosophy here. Free speech is free speech always, not when it is convenient or matches what I want to hear.

This covers issues so far. I think it is the right decision. It still does not allow contributions to candidates.
