Soccer star David Beckham tore his Achilles tendon on Sunday while playing in a match for AC Milan. Beckham was on loan from the LA Galaxy of MLS. There was no contact with another player at the time of the tear, so it was just a bad accident. Beckham will not be able to play in this year's World Cup and at 34 years old, there is some question as to whether he will play professionally again.

Bad news for soccer.
From the sound of the most recent reports, his achilles was completely torn. As such I think he's done.
That's too bad. He must be super frustrated and disappointed.
