Not Just Conservatives

Well, as the election fades into memory (bitter or happy) more and more data has come out about just what decided this election. Despite the liberal attempts to argue that it was all because of right-wing nutjobs, the facts are beginning to paint a rather different picture. Consider these numbers and how they shatter the myth that the President owes his election to the radical right. While conservative Christians certainly helped, it's clear that the President owes just as much thanks to voters like myself; people who voted for him despite some reservations because we believe that he was better than Kerry on a number of issues. It would do us all well to remember that too, a candidate doesn't owe his allegiance to just one group, but to the entire nation. That's President Bush's pledge after all, to be the leader of our entire nation.
