Nomad's Suggestions for iPhone's Next Software Update

After two weeks with the iPhone, I have come up with my own list of recommendations for the next big iPhone update.

• Google Maps Enhancement: Add a view with AT&T Wireless coverage. Useful for knowing what to expect while travelling
• Home Page: Add contacts to Home screen. It is annoying to have to open the phone application to modify the Contacts on the iPhone
• Contacts: Add the ability to Group contacts on the iPhone. Right now you can only do this on MacOS X with the Address Book
• Contacts: Add a "Map It" button to Contacts, so that you can jump straight to Google Maps.
• New Application: Use the motion sensor build into the iPhone to build a software-based pedometer. Think of it as Wii Sports for the iPhone
• Web Identity: Provide an optional service to allow websites to automatically log you in if you access them with your iPhone
