Hope For Israeli Peace Up and Down Again

In a surprising move, Israel and Egypt have exchanged prisoners. Israel got back a business man suspected of espionage. Egypt got back six students that were trying to hijack a tank. I'm not sure who got the better deal, but the world may get the best deal by having a moderate, Mahmoud Abbas take over the PLO. Then again, with fighting in Gaza again, who knows. Abbas has tried to get the militant groups to stop, but Hamas (who planted explosives in this recent fight) and Islamic Jihad have not promised anything.
